TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, hosted a symposium at the 8th Pan-African Conference on Malaria, organized by the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria (MIM). The symposium featured presentations and testimonies from researchers, implementers, and policy makers who have benefited from TDR's support for malaria research in Africa. The speakers shared their insights on how TDR has contributed to the generation and use of evidence for malaria prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance.
