Garry Aslanyan

Dr Garry Aslanyan leads the Global Health Matters podcast team and he hosts the monthly episodes, which brings a focus to health science and research topics to a wide audience with a special focus on Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). 

Dr Garry Aslanyan works at TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases where he manages TDR’s donor relations and governance, impact grants and partnerships, including the ESSENCE initiative.

In the past 20 years, Dr Aslanyan has taken on many roles that allowed him to lead various organizational and technical innovations. He is a recognized leader in public health, research/innovation management, healthy policy and global health diplomacy, both globally and in his home country - Canada.
