Garry Aslanyan

Dr Garry Aslanyan is the driving force behind the Global Health Matters podcast, serving as its Executive Producer and Host. As the founder and strategic lead, Garry shapes the podcast’s vision and impact - bringing bold ideas and inspiring voices to the global health stage.

Beyond the mic, Garry is integral part of TDR’s senior management team, where he spearheads TDR’s partnerships and global engagement, oversees highly popular regional research impact grants and serves as the Head of Secretariat of the ESSENCE initiative of research funders.

With over 25 years of experience, Garry has championed organizational and technical innovations across public health, research management, health policy, and global health diplomacy. His work has influenced strategies both worldwide and in his home country, Canada.
