Aloyce Urassa is a Global Health Leader with expertise in health laboratory sciences and public health research, specializing in health systems and implementation science.
His work spans malaria transmission interventions, novel tools for malaria elimination, health diplomacy, local manufacturing in Africa, and the impact of climate change on health systems.
Aloyce has extensive experience in resource mobilization, research, and advocacy, with over five years of experience leading several projects across African countries and consulting on data-driven advocacy, leadership, and project monitoring and evaluation. He has engaged with global health and political leaders at high-level forums, including the Global Fund Replenishment, UNGA, COP28, AU Summits, CPHIA, AHAIC, and more.
Currently, Aloyce serves as the Technical Lead for Private Sector Engagement at the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), driving public-private partnerships to strengthen health systems across Africa.
He is passionate about leveraging novel technologies, including AI, machine learning, big data, and blockchain, to enhance primary healthcare systems.
