Hamaiyal is a medical doctor from Pakistan. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies at the Harvard School of Public Health.
She has been serving as the Vice Chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Youth Council for the past two years; the youth advisory body of WHO inaugurated by Director-General Dr Tedros.
She was a former Paul Farmer Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Over the years, she has collaborated with several global youth organizations, addressing various critical issues for young people. An aspiring physician-scientist, she is interested in leveraging health economic tools to improve healthcare delivery.
