Biography

Award-winning documentary filmmaker, Claire Jeantet is passionate about creating content with meaning and depth.

In 2008, she co-founded the French production company Inediz with Fabrice Catérini. Believing in the power of stories to change the world, she collaborates with media, international organizations and NGOs.

Her main field of interest revolves around social issues, with a focus on refugees, women’s rights and access to health care. Claire began documenting the stories of people affected by noma in Nigeria in 2016. She has since directed and produced several documentaries on the subject, including ‘Restoring Dignity’ (52 minutes) and ‘Surviving Noma’ (4 minutes, 30 seconds).

After successfully managing the Médecins Sans Frontières noma campaign, she continues to work closely with survivors to raise awareness of this preventable and treatable disease.
