Luis Gabriel Cuervo

Senior Advisor, Pan American Health Organization

Biography

Dr Luis Gabriel Cuervo is a Colombian family physician and clinical epidemiologist currently based in Washington, DC, where he works as Senior Advisor on Research for Health at the Pan American Health Organization, regional office for the Americas of the World Health Organization. Luis Gabriel advises the Secretariat of the Social Innovation in Health Initiative and supports the secretariat of the Americas Hub. He has extensive experience with capacity development, integrated knowledge translation, the coordination of preventive and community medicine initiatives and Community Oriented Primary Care, doing cross-sectoral work to address environmental and social determinants of health.
