Izabela Suder-Dayao

Iza leads the administrative coordination for TDR’s governance body meetings and donor relations. Working closely with the Manager of Partnerships and Global Engagement, she also provides critical technical support to TDR’s project and grant management systems.

Since joining TDR in 2001, she has held key administrative roles in the Diagnostics and Malaria units before transitioning to the External Relations and Governance team and the Director’s Office. She began her professional career at the Center for Microbiological Research and Autovaccines in Krakow, Poland, specializing in information and technical affairs.

For Iza, the true highlight of her work is the human connection. “It is incredibly rewarding to witness the tangible, positive changes made by the researchers we support,” she says. An eternal optimist driven by growth and accomplishment, Iza sees her work as an opportunity to acquire new skills. She takes pleasure in TDR’s friendly work environment and organizational culture. “There is a sense of unity in TDR, the acceptance and tolerance of differences in perspectives and working styles between colleagues,” she observes.
