Dr Vanessa Veronese

Vanessa Veronese is a Scientist in the Research for Implementation Unit at TDR, where she leads work at the intersection of digital health, implementation research, and innovations for infectious disease control. Her portfolio spans diagnostic evaluation, health systems strengthening, and the integration of AI‑enabled and digital tools to improve access to quality care for infectious diseases, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. She has over a decade of experience working across global public health, implementation and epidemiological research, and programmatic implementation, with prior roles in leading technical and UN agencies across Asia, Africa and Australia. Vanessa is an Australian national and holds a PhD in epidemiology.
